A Quick game I put together to be a part of the Atari Vibes Game Jam. This is my first game Jam and I had to kind of throw this together rather quickly as I joined the Jam late. The first thing that came to my mind when I thought Atari 2600 was Breakout the game where you bounce a ball on a paddle and Bounce it. Then I thought it would be interesting to have a game like breakout but also have enemies shooting at you and giving you a more interesting target, and it got me thinking about Yars revenge for some reason, and I thought hey why not put both these ideas together. Added in a couple of features in the form of Powerups but would also have loved to expand on this by adding periodic enemies spawning.  I hope you can see what I was going for here and I tried to make it as Atari 2600 as possible, please let me know in the comments if you'd like for me to expand on the game adding in some more features.

Controls

Up Arrow = Move Up

Down Arrow = Move Down

Space = Start Game/Fire Ball

3 Different Powerups to use

• 2 Ball Split - Adds an addition 2 Balls 
• Reflect- Reflects and multiplies the Enemies bullet
• Barrier - Creates a Barrier behind you to prevent the Balls from being destroyed (1 time use)

*The game seems to run much better as an executable please downlead if your having issues with the Browser version like slow downs.*
